Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and doctor. Book a longer appointment if you have official paperwork, need a procedure, a health check or a care plan Clients without an appointment will be triaged (assessed) by a clinician. Booked appointments and Emergencies will always take first priority.

Fee Policy

  • We are a bulk billing service
  • Please bring your Medicare and Centrelink concession card to all appointments
  • If you are ineligible to hold an Australian Medicare Card a $75.00 standard consultation fee and $95.00 for a longer consultation fee will apply.

Transport

Client without access to a vehicle can be transported to and from their appointment.

  • Drivers will collect clients half an hour prior to their appointments
  • Transport is available however out of town transport needs to be negotiated
  • Please be ready and waiting outside when the driver comes to collect you
  • Transport is available to current clients for specialist services - See reception staff for more information

Management of your personal health information

Management of your personal health information is treated with the strictest confidence.

It is the policy of the practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available authorized members of staff Mulungu has confidentiality agreements in place with all staff including visiting specialist services.

Phone calls or letters will be sent to clients regarding follow up of results, an appointment will be made as soon as possible thereafter

Telephone access

During work hours medical calls will be transferred to clinical staff as required or a message will be taken and your call will be returned

Sms reminders

Mulungu sends out text messages to remind clients of their appointment time.

Reply 'Yes' to attend or 'No' if you are not coming.

To receive reminders please give your current mobile numbers to reception.

Please remember to update your Contact details for all family members as soon as they change

The clinics Information from you for the primary purpose of providing quality health care. We require you to provide us with your personal details and full medical history so that we may properly assess, diagnose, treat and be proactive in your health care need.

These records are the property of the Clinic, and to obtain a copy of these records completion of a "medical records release" form will require your signature. Our policy is to release the medical records to the medical Centre that you will be transferring to. The doctor can authorize a copy of your records. If you require your records from your doctor or wish to discuss these records this can also be discussed with your doctor
